As 2020 draws to a close I wanted to thank you all for your support over the past nine months. This season – more than any in recent history – your support has been most critical. With the COVID pandemic we have faced an unprecedented strain on revenue and so membership subscriptions are so very important to us. Thank you.
If you have not yet managed to renew your membership subscription you can still do so at the following link.
We continue to have disruption to our Rugby programme and we are not certain about what matches will happen in the New Year. It looks likely that we will continue the Energia Provincial Programme and we hope to finish the season with our annual Colours Match against DUFC. We will communicate more on this when we have confirmation from the IRFU and Leinster Rugby. Whilst there are not many matches taking place, the men and women continue where possible and permitted to train and develop. They are supported in their pursuit to excel at their chosen playing level by our talented and experienced coaching teams.
I wish to acknowledge our Club Sponsor Crowe who have continued to support us during this difficult season. Coupled with the support of Applegreen and the University we have been able to continue to function and be prepared for whatever Rugby opportunities arise during the remainder of the season.
It is unlikely that we will be able to hold the Annual Club Dinner in April and so plans are being made to hold a Golf Outing to replace the dinner and to allow for an enjoyable event for all members to participate in and connect with the Club this season.
Wishing you and your families a safe and peaceful Christmas and looking forward with great optimism to 2021.
