UCD RFC enjoys a special relationship with the University. That relationship recognises the importance of sport in academia for over 100 years.
The University is the Club’s most significant benefactor and the President of the University, Professor Orla Feely is the Club’s Patron. The club has always been grateful for the generosity of the University to the club culminating in the world class facilities in Belfield provided by the University.
In turn, the club has and continues to represent its patron in a manner which brings credit the University.
The Club provides students with the opportunity to greatly enhance their experience of University life by participating in a club which offer students the opportunity to stay healthy, play team sport and to make lifelong friendships.
